Nora was reluctantly given up by her owner on October 30, 2021 because she wasn't a good fit for their family environment. They stated the reason as: "high anxiety; did not copy well in high traffic household." Clearly this means she will need a mellow home, perhaps with middle-aged people that live a quieter, more peaceful life. Nora is 17 months old as of her relinquishment, and she's housebroken, good with other dogs, and isn't destructive. We are requiring that she live in a house with a yard so that she won't be required to go for 4-5 walks daily, which might be more stressful than ideal for this sensitive girl. It isn't know if there was another dog in her previous home, but a confident, mellow dog might be a positive influence on Nora and we hope to learn more about this during her stay with us.
