Otis is a new dog we took in from owners on April 14, 2018. They said he's about 3 years old, and that he's good with dogs, cats and kids, though he would do best in a home where he doesn't actually have to LIVE with other dogs. Otis is apparently jealous of attention and his demands for it take away from the quality of the other dogs' lives. Though he isn't destructive and doesn't dig or jump fences, he can be a whiner if bored or lonely. Normally we would say he'd be great for retirees, but his strength and energy level, especially when greeting other dogs (whether for play or not, we're unsure), may preclude older folks who prefer a calmer, easier dog. Otis is quite handsome and is kenneled with a large female dog at our ranch, and there have been no problems.
