Pawla is a darling little dog with a great big attitude. She is not comfortable with people she doesn't know, and she'll stare, growl and snap at them. About three days of just letting her decompress in a new situation, and she becomes a wiggly, flirly little ballerina who loves belly rubs. One way to Pawla's heart seems to be with food. She is a voracious eater! She's 3 years old and weighs about 12 pounds, probably a poodle/schnauzer type mix, and she's great with cats. We don't know any of Pawla's family history as to whether she is most comfortable with men, women and/or kids, but we think young kids might be a bit too stressful for her. She is frightened and uncooperative on leash, but it isn't known whether it's due to the leash or to an unfamiliar person attempting to make her walk on leash. With the right low-stress, gentle home, Pawla should lose most of her apprehensiveness and show herself as the cutie she is.
