Formosan Mountain Dog
Pickles is an adorable, medium sized dog all the way from Taiwan. She was a street dog who landed in rescue many years ago but she has been unlucky at finding a permanent home. She had a cancerous tumor in her mouth so it had to be removed and her entire lower jaw was removed with it. Luckily, that was years ago and she is still cancer free. The only difficult it brings is that Pickles' tongue hangs out all of the time. She needs access to water so it doesn't get too dry and she is a messy drinker so a towel would be helpful if indoors. She is such an incredible girl though and definitely worth living with that small imperfection. She is good with all other dogs and great with all people. After only a day she was already snuggling up to everyone for some loving. Pickles is also very well behaved in the house, knowing that she should potty outside and will do so if given enough opportunities. She is getting to be a bit of senior at an estimated 9 years old but she is in amazing shape so we expect she has plenty of life left to live.
