Doberman Pinscher
Rocks is a strong, handsome male who is actually around 5 years old but with the energy of a dog years younger. He was turned in to an animal shelter for financial reasons and the shelter reached out for rescue help because Rocks was pretty depressed. We got him out of his funk and thru an unfortunate sinus infection so now he is ready to find a new home. Sadly, Rocks was an outdoor dog so he still needs some help adjusting to life indoors but he took to crate training beautifully, he's very smart and he is eager to please so a little training will go a long way with him. He has dog social skills but we would recommend he live with large females and have a food schedule so he doesn't feel the need to guard his food from other dogs. Rocks is highly intelligent, affectionate and quite playful so he could fit in with an active family, couple or single. This sweetie may have a very unfortunate ear "crop" (if you can even call it that) but we are hoping that those big, brown eyes can help people look past his ears and love his heart.
