Meet our Rottie mix hunk, Roger. The rescue coordinator at an animal shelter made a special plea for him because of how sweet he was. She sent us a video of him and we fell in love quickly. He’s an all natural (long tail) rottie mix and just under 100 pounds of snuggle bug. He had a long term skin infection on his back typical of untreated flea infestations. We gave him a medicated bath and while he was at the vet for his neuter surgery, they removed some ugly warts and calluses that popped up from the long term neglect. He had to be shaved so he’s a bit bald back there but his fur is already growing back healthier. Roger is social around other dogs and even did great when introduced to a small female dog. Unfortunately, he does seem to have prey drive with cats so no kitties please. Roger loves people and we could see him in a variety of different homes. He’s active enough for walks and reasonable hikes but he would love nothing more than a day of snuggles. He’s about 5 years old and ready for a new home!
