Doberman Pinscher

Unfortunately, Sheena lost her home after nearly 4 years because she could just no longer live with the other female dogs in the home.  Though she peacefully got along with the multiple female dogs most of the time, she had some issues every once and a while when she got overstimulated or excited.  Sheena is about 5 years old now a bit of an anxious girl but very affectionate with people she knows and trusts.  She is also extremely smart and competed in obedience trials, picking up on commands extremely well and quickly.  We actually think Sheena is a wonderful girl but she will need just the right home so she doesn't find herself back in our kennels again.  She can live with other dogs but we recommend males and she needs a low stress home without a lot of outside stimulation.  She also needs careful handling around strangers visiting because she takes her role as a protector seriously.  If in the right environment, Sheena will be a loyal, well behaved and affectionate companion so we're hoping to set her up for success and find the perfect home where she can thrive.
