Did you know that some of the most difficult dogs for us to find homes for are seniors (approimately 7 and older)? Most people are looking for younger dogs because they feel they are more trainable or just because they don't want to feel the heartbreak of losing their new family member too soon. While we completely understand these reasons, the truth is that dogs are abandoned every day of all ages and sadly, a large percentage of them are older. Seniors happen to be some of our favorite dogs at Dobies and Little Paws and we feel that they deserve to spend the rest of their lives in loving homes. We will be spending this spring highlighting our deserving seniors in hopes that some of them might just find the forever homes they've been searching for.
