Hennessy is a nice-looking, solid Dobie girl who is about 10-11 years old and very endearing. She does have a bite history, but she did not intentionally bite the adult human, as we were originally led to believe. Rather, there was an encounter with a resident large dog that was so unacceptable to her that she initiated a fight with the other dog, and when restrained by a human, redirecting toward the person. As a result, we had to recommend Hennessy as the only dog in the home for a while. Since her return though, she has had many male kennelmates that she has either tolerated or really bonded with so we do think she could possibly live with a large male dog peacefully. She is housebroken, obedient, quiet, and will make a great pet in the right home.
