Border Collie, Siberian Husky Mix
Toby came to us last year from Taiwan, where he had only a remote chance of adoption, as the Taiwanese believe black dogs with white paws are bad luck, or worse. Toby is a young adult Border Collie/Siberian Husky mix. He is tall and elegant wit a soft coat comparable to a mink jacket. He's social with other dogs and calm, gentle people. He has a harder time trusting men than women. He also needs a home where he can run and release energy in a constructive way. He is incredibly smart and we thing he gets bored and frustrated easily At the home where we placed him last year he was too destructive, and he dug holes 2-3 feet deep. A ranch would be ideal for Toby! He's also developed into an amazingly good watchdog.
