Everyone will be impressed with Zara's beauty, but she needs a specific home where her fear-based aggression will not be an issue. Typically that means an experienced adult owner who is calm and confident in social situations with other dogs and strange people around, so that the dog trusts the owner and becomes less anxious. Zara does have a bite history; she was afraid of a noise and redirected her fear to the person restraining her. Her ex-owner said she is not good with dogs, cats, or kids, but we have found that kenneling her with a more confident, non-threatening dog seems to benefit her. Zara is 4 years old, isn't destructive, is housebroken, and has had 8 months of good training. She knows commands in German and Arabic. Whatever home we place her in, it will need to be one that will ease her anxiety, not increase it, so a less-urban environment would likely help her, as well as the supportive nurturing we hope she'll receive from her next owner.
