Asher is a new arrival from upstate California in late March, 2022. He became "rescue only" because in his exuberance he tried to grab a treat bag from a volunteer and his teeth accidentlly marked her hand, which resulted in him being quarantined. These dogs aren't made available to the public afterwards. We have to assume that Asher is grabby and/or mouthy though, so he won't be a good candidate for a home with kids. This behavior is usually fairly easy to correct with training, and we hope someone will accept this minor challenge. Asher is a happy dog who greets with a waggy tail, and he was mildly afraid of the two large female dogs we put him in with, so it's probably safe to say he wouldn't challenge a large female. He's about 3 years old and he weighs 70 pounds.
