Basil is about 10 years old and has known a loving home for the last 7 years. Basil is social with large dogs and has been living with an elderly cat. His owner had to move (mid-September 2021) and was unable to find a new residence where she could have dogs. Basil was accustomed to sleeping in her bed and using the doggie door when necessary to relieve himself. Basil was mostly indoors and his only negative reportedly is that sometimes he can be a door darter.
