Daisy is a 6-month-old (as of August 1, 2023) mixed breed pup whose owner had to relinquish her due to incompatibility with her other female dog, the "alpha" dog in the home. Daisy did well with the two male dogs, and in our experience here she has done well with another female that is not a dominant girl. We think she is probably Shepherd-Border Collie or some such mix, and she's incredibly smart. Daisy "play-nips" gently when excited, which makes us think Border Collie or some other herding breed may be in her gene pool. She's mostly housebroken, knows many commands (typically having to be told only once), aims to please, and loves long walks. Her ex-owner says Daisy "is an absolutely wonderful dog" whom she will greatly miss.
