We rescued Bogdan from his upstate animal shelter hours before he wouldn't have been able to be saved. The shelter supervisor had so named him because Bogdan means "God's gift" in Slavic. They had intentionally saved him for many weeks past his due-out date because of his happy disposition. He's about 14 months old (as of April 1, 2022) and he weighs about 60 pounds. Bogdan, or Bogie (his nickname) needs some training and he's medium- to high-energy, so he'll need a yard and regular exercise, and he's definitely social enough to live with other dogs his size.
