Chance is a 3-year-old Dobie boy who has been thru so much to get a second chance.  He was at an animal shelter when a contagious virus broke out and all of the dogs became short on time.  So short, in fact, that we couldn't even physically get to the shelter at that time due to a storm.  Thankfully, a vet clinic local to that area was willing to take him in for a few days and treat him until we could make the trip.  He did have a bad upper respiratory infection but not the dangerous virus that we feared.  It has taken some time for him to feel better and gain a little weight but he is doing fantastic and we were finally able to get him neutered so he could start the search for a new home.  Chance now shares his kennel with a large female Dobie and he plays so well with her.  He can be insecure with new people so he needs patience while he learns to trust but he is devoted to people he knows.  He likes to play, go for walks and loves affection.  He knows a lot of commands too including sit, down, shake, and speak!  We think Chance would do best in an adult home or maybe with teenage kids, not too many visitors stressing him out, and hopefully another dog to help his confidence.
