Charlene AKA Charlie was surrendered to a rescue by her owners.  She is a little over 2 years old, all natural and smaller in size.  She is a white/albino with really light blue eyes that are super sensitive to light.  She is not blind but she doesn't see very well due to their sensitivity.  We have some of her medical history in which she has had a couple of UTI's and she has a lower Von Willebrand's factor but not a life threatening level.  She is now spayed and ready to find a new home.  Her previous owners reported that she is housebroken, has some training and does really well with a set routine.  She is playful, sweet and affectionate with people she knows really well and lives with.  However, Charlene is not trusting of strangers and she will growl when uncomfortable.  She will need patience and an owner that can advocate for her so she isn't put in situations where she needs to feel defensive.  We would also recommend muzzle training for places like the vet where she will need to come in close contact with people she doesn't know.  Her previous owners raved about what an amazing dog she is so we know that with the right family, she will be wonderful.  Due to her behavioral needs we are not recommending her for a home with children.  Charlene does share a kennel with a large male dog and they get along well but care should be taken during feeding time since she will resource guard food around other animals.
