Chief was supposedly surrendered to an animal shelter by his owner, but he was also listed as a stray dog, so we assume that he escaped from the owner's property and was surrendered due to the owner's inability to contain him. We learned that he is able to jump a 6' fence, so he'll likely need a block walled yard to keep him secure. Chief is middle-aged, probably about 5 years old, and he weighed 83 pounds on intake at his animal shelter. We kenneled him with a female Doberman until she was adopted, and there were no issues between the dogs. He's a very handsome dog that will make his new owner proud!
