Daemon is a new youngster that his animal shelter preferred to transfer to a Doberman rescue group (us) due to his reactivity to other dogs when on leash or behind a barrier. As with many dogs like this, he's fine with large female dog companions, which he's had two of thus far, but males he seems to view as the enemy. We don't think Daemon should be adopted by anyone with dog-reactive dogs on the other side of the fence, either when being walked by their owners, or simply living in a neighbor's yard. Initially Daemon was inclined to jump on us with his full body weight when excited, but he's quite amenable to training and backs down when commanded to. He's about 2 years old and overly lean at about 70 pounds.
