Fern is a youngster who got into big trouble at the animal shelter.  She was attacked by her kennelmate and required rescue help or she was going to be euthanized. An amazing volunteer got her out for us and took her to the vet where she only required a few stitches for the minor injury.  Fern is only about 1-2 years old, small in stature and ready for a new home.  She is incredibly smart and would do best in an active home with a yard and preferably, another dog to keep her company.  She did figure out how to escape from a crate while in a temporary foster (she was recovering from her injury) so crating her may not be an option in a new home.  We love little Fern and she is such an affectionate girl who is ready for a new start.
