Fuze is a new shelter rescue that we think had a run of bad luck, and we're hoping to change that. He originally ended up in an animal shelter because one family member didn't want a dog. The shelter adopted him out again, but he was returned for minor bites to two people in the home, and we think he had too many strong demands made on him too soon. After arriving at our facility we noticed that he appeared to be very defensive when cornered, as when he was in his kennel with an unknown person inside coming closer to him than he was comfortable with at that point. He's a somewhat insecure dog and will need a gentle introduction to his new home to build the trust he'll need to be his best. Fuze is on the small side at about 60 pounds, and he's 2 years old. We're recommending him for an adult home with a smooth, easy lifestyle, possibly with a large, kind female dog to set the example he'll learn to follow.
