We rescued Homer in late October, 2021 after his animal shelter made him "rescue only." Apparently he had been involved, one way or another, with a deceased duck that he was feasting on. It wasn't known if he was the cause of the duck's death, but his owner decided to surrender him to the shelter, where he quickly became a favorite of the employees there. We think Homer is quite a delightful dog as well, but he's in need of training, as he's VERY STRONG on leash and he's big enough, at 75 pounds, for that to matter. We have him kenneled with a female Doberman, and he's compatible.
