Yes, she is an escape artist and was likely a stray dog at her shelter for that reason. She's about 2 years old as of mid-May, 2022, and she weighs 57 pounds. Houdini is apparently a climber, as we have observed her scaling the fencing surrounding our kennels. She currently shares a covered kennel with a male Doberman, but she's a bully with the other dog. Houdini should be considered only as the single dog in the home, and it's probable that she would not try to escape from a happy home when her family is present. Following her several kennel escapes she stayed on site and came right up to us. Ideally she should be crated or securely confined when no one is at home though, so she's not a good choice for a person or couple that works all day.
