Hunter came to us mid-July, 2022, at age 4 after being impounded at an animal shelter and not being redeemed by his owner. The reason he was impounded, according to the shelter paperwork, was that he was "seized for investigation," so whatever was involved in the investigation probably means he didn't have an ideal home life. He's a big boy, well over 80 pounds, and he's very strong on leash. His leash behavior will need work because he's also not very dog-social. On the positive side, Hunter is "super-housebroken," loves his humans, treats, and tennis balls, in that order.
