Kenny is a handsome boy who will need a very specific and experienced home.  He's about 4 years old and a decently big guy.  He was originally turned into an animal shelter by his owner and they stated he had some aggression issues but we weren't given any specific information.  He was very cautious with the staff but eventually warmed up and they liked him enough to ask for rescue help.  During his time with us we had no problems with him.  He's been friendly, easy to be around and care for.  He was adopted briefly but while out on a walk his leash broke and he picked a fight with another dog.  The owner of the other dog was bitten breaking up the altercation but it apparently wasn't severe enough to be reported.  The owner stated that Kenny was a wonderful dog otherwise and he really didn't want to give him up.  We think he deserves another chance but we are being selective when it comes to another home.  It will have to be an adult home with experienced owners who can give him boundaries, structure and an outlet for his energy safely.  He won't be a good candidate for walks in highly populated neighborhoods so a more rural environment may be more ideal.  He will also need to be the only dog in the home and no cats.
