We placed Khyber and a companion Dobie, Evie, with an adopter quite a few years ago, and due to the adopter's ill health, they have just come back to us. The adopter always took them on hikes up into the hills, off leash, and periodically we'd get a call about someone having found Khyber, identified by his i.d. tag number. So, clearly, Khyber is a bit of a free spirit! He's a charming guy who is housebroken, good with dogs, cats and kids, according to his ex-owner's information sheet. He's also not destructive. We always enjoyed this big goofy guy during his earlier stay with us and we hope we can make him happy in another great home. Khyber is now 7 years old, and we won't quote his weight at present because he came back to us significantly overweight!
