Limerick was recently rescued from an animal shelter, where the staff worried about him being aggressive to another dog they tested his socialness with. At our request, they repeated the test off-leash, and Limerick only wanted to play with the other male, putting his head under the other dog's neck and then licking him on the face. We think he was used to a playful companion and may be sad to be missing that dog. Limerick was much underweight on arrival but has made steady improvement being free-fed. He should reach a maximum of about 65-70 pounds, he's about 3 years old, and he's sweet with people.
