Monette is a 2-year-old sweetgirl who needs a gentle home. She was emaciated when she arrived and we have been slowly helping her gain the weight she needs. Monette has been gaining confidence as well but she still needs gentle handling while she learns to trust fully. She has never been aggressive but she seeks refuge in her dog house if she gets overwhelmed. We have found she does best when living with another dog and she's good with dogs of both genders so we would love to see her in a home with at least one other dog. Monette is so loving and a little patience will go a long way with this sensitive soul.
