Moseley is a sweet boy who needed urgent help from the animal shelter.  He had a badly infected front leg that has been neglected for so long it had become necrotic.  He went to directly from the shelter to our vet where it was determined the leg needed to be amputated.  X-rays showed the leg had been broken and the bone healed well.  We think it is possible that he had a splint kept on too long and proper veterinary follow up wasn't done by his owner resulting in the out of control infection.  Moseley is only 9-10 months old and smaller in stature for a male.  He has healed from this amputation thanks to his amazing temporary foster and now he is at the rescue and ready for a new home.  He is good with other dogs and his foster reported he was good with a cat and even an iguana!
