Pluto was hard to resist after we saw the endearing pictures of him interacting with his animal shelter staff and volunteers. He had also been in foster care for a time until a safe haven could be found for him, but he had finally run out of options. Though Pluto is currently kenneled with a female Doberman, he may not have previously had an affiliative relationship with another dog, or perhaps had one where he needed to be dominant enough to not be bullied by another dog. It was said that he was picked up from a situation where an argument was in progress between two or more dogs. Pluto is handsome and people-friendly, medium-sized at 67 pounds, and about 3 years old.
