Ruby is a young dog who really needs a permanent home. She was originally a very insecure animal shelter rescue dog that was fostered for a few months by her transporter, during which time she received basic training until she was ready to move on to a permanent home. After her adoption, despite being experienced owners, her adopters felt she was too much dog for them, so strong and hard to control on leash that she pulled the woman over, resulting in an injured knee. The two most important things Ruby will need in her new home will be a large yard to run in and another dog (preferably male) to horse around with to expend energy. She is housebroken, crate trained, knows several commands, and bonds with caring humans. We will not be considering homes with inexperienced owners, kids, small dogs or other small animals. As of April 1, 2022, she's about 15 months old and weighs mid-50's.
