Rusty is a darling senior boy we placed in a home quite a number of years ago as a foster. After a time we believed him to be a "failed foster," but the foster placed him in what they believed was a good adoptive home without telling us. We were very surprised to receive a call from a distant upstate animal shelter, saying that he had been impounded with another dog, Nino, and was unclaimed two weeks later! So...we arranged with our hero pilots from Pilots n Paws to fly Rusty and his friend, Nino, to come back to us for adoption. Both dogs are in good condition (even their teeth!), and we estimate that they're about 7 years old. They're under 15 pounds; Rusty is the red boy and Nino is the cream-colored one, both some combination of Chihuahua, Terrier and/or Miniature Pinscher.
