Meet Schatzi, a spirited 4-year-old Doberman Pinscher mix who’s got enough energy to light up a room! Schatzi is as fun as her name suggests, and she loves nothing more than a game of fetch or a long walk to expend some of that boundless zest for life. She's in peak health, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and even microchipped and licensed in California.

Don't mistake her high energy for being a handful; she knows her basic commands and is fully housebroken. Plus, she’s crate-trained to boot. When it comes to making you feel safe and secure, Schatzi is a natural. She’s been an excellent guard dog, making us feel completely at ease in our home with her watchful presence.

Now, as much as Schatzi loves to play and cuddle, she's not a fan of sharing her humans. She prefers being the only pet in the house and isn't too keen on mingling with other animals. As for kids, while Schatzi isn’t aggressive, her enthusiasm can be overwhelming. Therefore, she's better suited for a home without small children.

Another thing to know about Schatzi is that she's got a bit of anxiety when left alone for long stretches. It’s nothing a bit of extra attention and perhaps some training can’t fix. And speaking of training, she’s highly food-motivated—making her an eager student.

Schatzi is not keen on bicycles, so a home without them would be her haven. She adores raw bones and tennis balls; offer her either, and you'll have a friend for life. She’s also on the lookout for a foodie partner-in-crime. Yes, this girl loves her treats!

Due to a move, we have to find this sweet and lively girl a new home. What Schatzi needs is someone who can match her boundless energy and offer her a loving, forever home. She isn’t a project or a problem to be solved; she’s a loving dog with a lot of spunk and personality. With a little attention to her quirks, she’s going to make someone an incredibly loyal and joyful companion.
