Toby (about 8 years old) and a younger Doberman of about 2 years old were left at an animal shelter together and a few weeks later had "timed out." We don't know why they were owner-surrendered, and we're not necessarily seeking to place them together (though they are kenneled together with us) as the presumed son isn't completely tolerant of his senior father. Toby is underweight at less than 60 pounds but is steadily gaining weight. He's a good watchdog!
