Vanessa is a slightly older girl with a sweet, affectionate demeanor. In fact, she is all butt wags when she gets attention and those big, brown eyes are hard to resist. Her social skills with other dogs leave something to be desired though so she may need to be the only dog in the home. She can become defensive and aggressive with other dogs on leash so she needs a little training but she has been able to live with some large males in the past. It may depend on the other dog and experience level of her new owners. Vanessa has many redeeming qualities though and she is more than deserving of a loving home so we hope the right one is out there to give her a second chance.
