Winnie is a young dog who initially behaved as though she was apprehensive, and this is understandable considering what her earlier life may have been like. She has a white band of hair around her muzzle, typical of dogs that have had their muzzles banded shut. At first she was vocal when she arrived with us, so that may have been the reason for being treated that way. We have found Winnie to be dog-social, though a little standoffish with them at times. She's about 18 months old and on the small side but she is quite active and very strong. Despite her small stature, she will need someone physically capable of handling her on leash and providing her with a lot of exercise.
