Yager is a recent rescue from an upstate animal shelter where he had been relinquished by his owner due to a conflict between him and another dog. The information provided by his ex-owner was pretty positive. He lived with cats and children ages 3, 5 and 7, and never hurt any of them. What Yager did not enjoy was a lot of demanding puppy behavior and he did a bit of food guarding with that dog also. He was underweight on arrival but will hopefully reach a healthy weight in the upper 80's soon. He's almost two years old as of late June, 2022, and he's tall and lanky at 79 pounds.
