Ziti, shortened from her original unpronounceable name, is a year-old all-natural (long tail and natural ears) Dobie girl who was surrendered with her sister to an upstate animal shelter because the owners had too many dogs. It was clear that they hadn't received the socialization they deserved because they seemed like lost souls for their first few days with us, not understanding that strangers were now their caregivers and handlers. Ziti is the more confident sister, and she's smaller at 50 pounds. She is becoming a good watchdog as well. Based on our observations here and the fact that she lived with numerous dogs previously, we would expect Ziti to be dog-social with most other dogs, certainly those her size and larger.
