Zoey is a very sweet and gentle girl who came to us from an animal shelter. It is difficult to tell because she certainly doesn't act like an older dog but the condition of her teeth suggests that Zoey is about 6-7 years old. She was believed to be pregnant when she came from the shelter but weeks later and no babies. Further tests showed she was not pregnant and had an open pyometra (infected uterus) so she went in for surgery immediately. Thankfully, she was in great health and recovered from surgery without any issues. Zoey has been good around other dogs but also enjoys her space and being around more gentle dogs. She especially loves people though and would happily sit by her person all day. She doesn't love being left alone though and chewed a crate so she will need a safe place to be when left alone.
